Your current tenancy agreement will no longer be suitable if you take deposits because each scheme administrator requires a special clause to be inserted. In addition to that, you must give the tenant certain prescribed information in a section 213 notice (also known as a deposit information certificate DIC) which contains a certificate signed by the landlord and the tenant is given the opportunity to sign.
This is where we can help, we can supply a tenancy agreement and notice for £6.00 to members of the Guild (membership costs £70.00 per annum for private landlords, £120.00 per annum for letting agents)
We can provide an assured shorthold tenancy agreement and section 213 notice for whichever scheme you choose and one specially designed for those who choose not to take a deposit (proving a very popular choice!)
